4月10日，中国产业海外发展协会在北京召开第五届理事会第八次会议暨第八次会员大会。
会议采取现场与视频会议相结合的方式进行。300多家理事及会员单位代表线上线下参会，会议审议表决新设分支机构及负责人、吸收新会员单位以及增选理事等事项。
和振伟会长以《从当前国际形势看一带一路的重要意义》为题做了主题分享，结合当前国际形势，重点阐述了“一带一路”高质量发展的新阶段特征，通过分析地缘冲突下的供应链风险，阐述了共建“一带一路”的重要意义，为企业提供了落实“一带一路”高质量发展的实操路径。
会议特邀宁夏大学中国阿拉伯国家研究院创始院长李绍先针对当前中东冲突，作题为《对美以伊战争的观察与思考》的专题报告，并进行了现场问答交流，受到与会嘉宾的热烈欢迎。
会议最后号召全体会员企业紧跟国家战略，利用政策红利，依托中海协平台抱团出海，优先布局中亚等安全稳定市场，为高质量共建“一带一路”贡献力量。
The China Overseas Development Association held its 8th Meeting of the 5th Council and 8th Member Congress in Beijing.
On April 10, the China Overseas Development Association convened a hybrid (online and offline) Council and Member Congress. The meeting reviewed and approved matters including the establishment of new branches, admission of new members, and election of additional council members. Chairman He Zhenwei delivered a keynote speech on the significance and pathways for high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative in the context of the current international situation. The conference also featured a special report by Dean Li Shaoxian on the Middle East conflict. In conclusion, members were called upon to seize opportunities, collaborate in going global, and contribute to the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
