9月11日，中国产业海外发展协会第五届理事会第六次会议在北京举行，和振伟会长出席会议，蒋赟常务副秘书长主持会议。本次会议采取线上线下相结合的方式举行，中海协各位理事、代表处主任、专委会负责人以及会员企业代表150余人参加了会议。
和振伟会长发表致辞，回顾了近期国家重大事件对企业“走出去”产生的积极影响，特别提到纪念抗日战争和反法西斯战争胜利80周年阅兵仪式所展现的国家实力与民族凝聚力，为企业在海外拓展业务注入了强大信心。他还重点阐述了习近平主席提出的全球治理倡议对中国企业海外发展的指导意义，强调企业在践行国际合作、传播中国理念方面的重要使命。
会议期间，理事会进行了届中增补副会长的投票选举，并审议通过了新增设立分支机构的议案，进一步修订和完善了协会的相关制度，优化了协会的组织架构和服务能力。
本次会议正式成立了“中海协专家委员会”，聘请中国石油化工集团公司原董事长傅成玉担任委员会主席，并为受聘专家颁发证书。专家委员会首批成员共16人，涵盖能源、电力、通讯、化工、法律、金融、保险、传媒等多个领域。傅成玉作为专家委员会主席发表讲话，表示将汇聚各界智慧，为会员企业海外发展提供有力支持。
会议邀请中国驻哈萨克斯坦前大使张霄作了《中哈关系回顾与展望：机遇与挑战并存》的专题报告，受到参会企业的一致好评和热烈反响。
此次理事会议程充实、成果显著。未来，中海协将继续携手广大会员企业与各界专家，共同把握时代机遇，应对全球挑战，谱写中国产业海外发展的新篇章。
China Overseas Development Association Successfully Holds the Sixth Council Meeting of Its Fifth Term in Beijing
On September 11, the Fifth Council of the China Overseas Development Association (CODA) held its sixth meeting in Beijing. President He Zhenwei attended the meeting, while Executive Deputy Secretary-General Jiang Yun presided over the session. The meeting was conducted both online and offline, with over 150 participants, including CODA council members, directors of representative offices, heads of professional committees, and representatives from member enterprises.
In his opening speech, President He Zhenwei reviewed the positive impact of recent major national events on Chinese enterprises' global expansion. He specifically highlighted the military parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory in the War of Resistance Against Japan and the World Anti-Fascist War, which demonstrated China's national strength and national cohesion, thereby instilling strong confidence in enterprises expanding overseas. He also elaborated on the guiding significance of President Xi Jinping's Global Governance Initiative for Chinese enterprises' overseas development, emphasizing their important mission in advancing international cooperation and promoting Chinese values.
During the meeting, the council conducted a vote to elect additional vice presidents and reviewed and approved a proposal to establish new branches. The meeting further revised and improved the association's relevant regulations, optimizing its organizational structure and service capabilities.
The meeting officially established the "CODA Expert Committee," appointing Fu Chengyu, former Chairman of China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec Group), as the committee chairman. Certificates were presented to the appointed experts. The first cohort of the expert committee consists of 16 members, covering various fields such as energy, power, communications, chemical industry, law, finance, insurance, and media. In his speech as chairman of the expert committee, Fu Chengyu expressed his commitment to pooling expertise from various sectors to provide robust support for member enterprises' overseas development.
The meeting also featured a special report by Zhang Xiao, former Chinese Ambassador to Kazakhstan, titled "Review and Prospects of China-Kazakhstan Relations: Opportunities and Challenges Coexist." The report was highly praised and warmly received by the participating enterprises.
The council meeting featured a substantial agenda and achieved significant outcomes. Moving forward, CODA will continue to collaborate with member enterprises and experts from various fields to seize opportunities of the times, address global challenges, and jointly write a new chapter in the overseas development of Chinese industries.
